Custom Furnishings + Wallpaper for Coastal Blend of Transitional meets Contemporary
La Jolla · Bird Rock
This home was featured in the Bird Rock Home Tour as a unique blend of Cape Cod architecture with traditional and contemporary interior highlights. The dining room welcomes guests to sit at a custom white washed oak dining room table paired with Restoration Hardware white barrel chairs while the pendant light sourced from Ochre in New York, illuminates from solid glass drops in a wave format. Surrounding the dining room and into the living room are paneled drapes which, when drawn together, form an ocean scene painted by contemporary impressionist painter Jessica Zoob from the UK. She translates her art beautifully onto fabrics. Moving into the living room, a custom sofa with a chaise lounge sits with a solid wood coffee table constructed from a church door in Italy, complete with chunky, custom metal strap. As you approach the stairs, you are enveloped in floor-to-ceiling linen wallpaper with metallic raised rivets while three Celestial Pebble pendant lights of solid glass drops hailed from Ochre are illuminated by LED and hung by patina brass chains. Stunning!
