Half wall removed on left side to create dual entry into the kitchen. Custom lower cabinets in high lacquer finish in a soft aqua turquoise color paired with metal mesh upper cabinets. Custom floor to ceiling pantry design incorporated to give more storage. Wall stove and microwave drawer were moved to the island. White quartz countertops freshens up the whole space.
This living room was closed off by a glass wall with an oversized fireplace in the middle of it. The problem was first checking to see if they had more tile flooring so the floor could be extended out to current outdoor patio. Yes! We took out 2 beams, the glass wall and fireplace to open up the whole space and in comes the natural sunlight. Added a header above and installed a new door to the garage and enclosed and sealed the outdoor patio ceiling. Completing the transformation with a mid-century modern fireplace and white wall panels in a honeycomb pattern to give texture and pattern surrounding a walnut and white wood surround media cabinet found in NYC.
All prior wall cabinetry removed and re-purposed for their home office. Wall panels in a white honeycomb pattern grounds the living room area and surrounds the beautiful walnut wood media cabinet.
Inspired by the special art piece that was a gift. A custom made valence was created in high gloss lacquer to match the mint color in the art and bring sheen to the space along with the brass pendant light and brass dining chairs.
Family friendly dining chairs and table that is also cohesive to the mid-century modern palette
